Destination Marketing
Destination Marketing is one of Bundaberg Tourism’s five strategic priorities. Bundaberg Tourism's Destination Marketing is designed to build destination awareness, both nationally and internationally; inspire domestic and international visitors to consider the Bundaberg and North Burnett regions as a leisure destination; and engage travel-intenders at multiple stages within the path to purchase in order to influence decision making and travel behaviour.

Brand Bundaberg
A strong destination brand applied across our tourism industry increases the chances of travel intenders choosing our region over others for their next holiday, attracting them to stay longer, experience more and return again.
DESTINATION CAMPAIgNS
Bundaberg Tourism focuses on sharing remarkable, authentic visitor experiences that highlight the destinations point of difference in a crowded global marketplace, through targeted and strategic destination marketing. We run a variety of integrated major and supporting regional campaigns throughout the year which are designed to inspire and influence the purchasing decisions of our key target markets across the five stages of travel.
Destination DIGITAL
Bundaberg’s ‘Always On’ digital and social strategy continue to drive significant benefits to the region by engaging digitally savvy travellers at multiple stages within the path to purchase in order the influence decision making. The core activities include the destination website, which significantly expands our digital footprint and enhance our capacity to deliver meaningful digital experiences to those considering and visiting the Bundaberg region; social media, which leverages apirational created and user-generated content to capture attention and engage travel intenders; and the consumer electronic direct mail (EDM) or e-newsletter.
