Swim With Turtles

Seeing the turtles nest and hatch can cause a severe case of turtle-fever. The only known cure? To venture out to our Islands on the Southern Great Barrier Reef and swim with the turtles. The waters of Lady Musgrave Island and Lady Elliot Island are home to turtles year-round including the endangered loggerhead turtle, green sea turtle and the hawksbill turtle, all which nest and hatch on Mon Repos Beach and the islands. Swimming alongside the turtles is a rite of passage and a bucket list item you can tick off right here in region.
