Norval Park Campground is located close to the oceanfront between Rules Beach and Miara. The property has been developed by the Bundaberg Regional Council to provide basic ‘bush’ camping with zero or minimum facilities. Camping at Norval Park Campground is arranged by purchasing a permit (through this website only) and is open to tents and camper trailers only. Caravans, Motor homes, camper vans and the like are not permitted. The Bundaberg Regional Council will inspect the site regularly to verify and enforce permits for each site.

* A camping permit is required to camp in this area.

* A maximum of ten (10) nights can be booked at the Norval Park Campground in a single booking with a maximum of twelve (12) persons per site per night.

prohibited in the park or on the beach at
any time. Guests are encouraged to contact
police to report any instances of unlawful
behaviour.
Garbage: A skip bin is located at the entrance to
the park. Please take all broken camping
equipment or furniture with you on
departure.
Generators are permitted between
6 am and 8 pm only.
Lighting:To minimise our impact on the environment,
please keep camp lighting to a minimum.
Help us protect local wildlife by carrying
handheld lighting when moving around the
park after dark.
Liquor: Liquor Is permitted to be consumed within
the park but intoxicated and/or anti-social
behaviour will not be tolerated. Please keep
glass out of public areas.
Noise: Please consider other campers and keep
noise to a minimum. No excessive noise
after 10 pm.
Pets: Dogs are permitted with a maximum of two
dogs per camp site. Dogs must be confined
to the camp site or on a leash and under
human control.
Security: Guests are responsible for the security
of their property. Please ensure that all
valuables and belongings are secure and
under lock where possible.
Smoking: No smoking within 10 metres of any
occupied campsite, (including your own),
toilet block, picnic table or other communal
space within the park. Please dispose of all
butts thoughtfully and do not litter.
Toilets: Flushing toilets are provided although self-contained camping is encouraged. Limited
water on site for hand washing only.
Trees/vegetation: Trees, branches and other vegetation may
fall from time to time. Persons entering the
park do so at their own risk. No responsibility
will be accepted for personal or property
damage caused by falling trees, fruit,
seeds or sap, or damage caused by animal
droppings. Please ensure that you have
sufficient vehicle and caravan insurance
cover.
Trenches: No trenches to be dug in the park, under any
circumstances.
Vehicles: All vehicles, property and camping
equipment must be confined to the space
allocated within each camp site.

A maximum of ten nights can be booked at the Norval Park Campground in a single booking with a maximum of eight persons per site per night.
There will be no refund of permit fees under any circumstances while a booking credit may be provided for a future stay at the Norval Park Campground to be taken within 12 months of cancellation.
Booking credits will be issued less a cancellation fee of $20 per permit.
* A minimum of 21 days prior notice of cancellation will be required before a booking credit can be issued otherwise less than 21 days prior notice of cancellation will result in the forfeiture of full permit fees.
