 Understand and Inspire Your Audience

Supporting the largest concentration of nesting turtles on the East coast of Australia and the most significant loggerhead turtle nesting population in the South Pacific, The Mon Repos Turtle Encounter operated by passionate Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service Rangers and volunteers is a primary draw card for the region across summer holidays.

Southeast Queenslanders are Mon Repos’ biggest fans however, with tourism heading towards the new normal we expect to see Sydney siders and Melbournite’s consider spending their summer holidays here. Bundaberg Tourism has also partnered with 4 inbound tour operators who work in the New Zealand, Europe and United Kingdom markets to distribute an allocation of turtle tickets to their audiences.

While Bundaberg is known worldwide as the home of Australia’s favourite rum and ginger beer, the region is earning international recognition as a significant eco-tourism destination that offers restorative experiences for the soul and give back to the environment in which they are taking place.

These enriching experiences offer visitors the chance to connect with our natural backyard, cementing a place in their hearts with memories to be shared with friends and family for years to come.
