Bundaberg At New Zealand Tourism Roadshow 

Bundaberg Tourism's Trade & Industry Development Executive Loni Hammond hopped across the Tasman to meet with our New Zealand neighbors, as part of Tourism and Events Queensland's Queensland is Calling Trade Roadshow from 26 February - 29 February 2024.

Across this 4 day event, Loni met and mingled with product managers and retail travel agents to share the trade-ready accommodation and experiences of the Southern Great Barrier Reef. With over 44 operators and RTO representatives, the event was Queensland's largest-ever delegation to a roadshow in New Zealand.

The Queensland is Calling Roadshow comes at a perfect time, coinciding with the launch of Bundaberg Tourism's Trade Campaign in New Zealand in February - with many agents mentioning that they had already seen the Bundaberg Southern Great Barrier Reef x Anzcro NZ packages in Travelinc Memo.

New Zealand is both Bundaberg and Queensland's largest international inbound market, with Kiwi's making up 23% of total international visitation to Queensland with potential to double in the next decade. Events like this are an incredibly valuable chance to build relationships, create opportunities and increase destination awareness within such a key market.
