BUNDABERG’S TOURISM STORIES TOLD ON NATIONAL TV

Some of Bundaberg’s favourite personalities will be showcased in the nation’s living rooms
through Channel Nine’s lifestyle show My Way this March.

The TV show visited the region as part of Bundaberg Tourism’s summer campaign, and will share the stories of Peter Gash on Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort, Carly and Ashley Clarke of Splitters Farm, and the Steinhardt family of Macadamias Australia.

My Way captures the stories of Queensland, giving real people the chance to tell their own stories, share their passions and to say, “I’m doing this My Way’’.

After airing in Queensland, the stories will be televised nationally the following week, giving Australia a glimpse into some of the joyful and authentic experiences on offer in the Bundaberg Region, and in turn staying front of mind when they are planning their next holiday.

Bundaberg Tourism funded the My Way team to return to the region in February following the positive response to the 2021 episode featuring Brett Lakey and Lady Musgrave Experience.

Katherine Reid, Bundaberg Tourism’s CEO said ‘’Bundaberg is renowned as a warm and welcoming community, full of passionate and dedicated people.  Our tourism industry has been built by people from all walks of life who want to share their experiences with the Region’s guests, and My Way is a beautiful platform for sharing some of these stories with the nation.“

“Macadamias Australia were thrilled to be part of the My Way production which will give an insight into the paddock to plate journey of our vertically integrated macadamia business.  The segment will feature our sustainable growing practices right through to the visitor experience and café and how our multi-generational family business continues the legacy of our founders.” said Janelle Gerry, Director of Corporate Services, The Steinhardt Group.

My Way has a weekly viewing audience of 232,250 and a whole-of-season audience of 2.1 million viewers.
