The Bundaberg Visitor Information Centre was awarded the VIC of the Year (RTO-run) for the second year in a row at the Queensland Information Centres Association Awards.
Louisa, our VIC Coordinator, accepted the award on behalf of our staff and volunteers who work so tirelessly to look after our regional VIC guests and support and promote our industry and community. The face of visitor services is changing, but the faces our visitors are welcomed by continue to be some of the brightest and warmest they could hope for. Our VICs support and promote the whole of our regional tourism industry and the broader community and this award acknowledges the excellence of the service they provide.
The awards are judged on a comprehensive submission covering strategies, innovations and implementations in the areas of customer service, excellence in tourism, business management, marketing and industry engagement.
