MOORE PARK BEACH

Immerse yourself in Moore Park Beach and connect with the plethora of natural surroundings not only for yourself but for your four-legged friends – with the southern end of the beach dog-friendly. The beach is patrolled by the Surf Lifesaving Club during the Summer and has a caravan park, motel and holiday units nearby. So jump in the car, pack a picnic and bring the boogie boards for some quality time with the family and awe-inspiring views.

Take time to relax in the peaceful surrounds and walk the many coastal pathways of Moore Park Beach, looking out for the friendly wildlife along the way. If you’re an avid surfer, or just starting out, this local hotspot produces some of the best waves around! If your furry-friend loves the water just like you, be sure to bring them along for a fun-filled day.

BAFFLE CREEK

At the furthest point north along our coastline sits a secluded slice of paradise - Baffle Creek. With kilometres of waterways, this local favourite is fantastic for fishing, crabbing and boating.

Grab the kids or your mates and try your luck. Known for Mangrove Jack, Barra, Trevally and Bream, you’ll be sure to catch something delicious and the beautiful surrounding picnic areas are the perfect spot to enjoy lunch.

Don’t forget to bring the kayaks for a relaxing paddle!

THE MUST-DO LIST

With 35 kilometres of pristine waterways, the fishing at Baffle Creek is absolutely incredible. From Tailor to Barramundi, and all things in between, be sure to throw in a line and see what you find! If you love relaxing while looking out to the coast, look no further. The secluded beach at Baffle Creek is the perfect spot to hang out for the day. Known for its spectacular views, taking out the kayak is a must.

NORVAL PARK

Located just off the coast is Norval Park - one of the region’s hidden gems. Bring your tent or your camper trailer and spend the night (or a few) at this unforgettable oasis.

Be sure to bring your furry-friends as this campground is dog friendly!

THE MUST-DO LIST

Get back to basics with bush camping at Norval Park Campground. Bring your mates or your family (or both!) and spend some quality time together. Wander along this secluded beach and take in views like you’ve never seen before. Don’t forget to bring the cricket bats for a game along the beach.

BUCCA

Exploring Bucca is an absolute must while in town. With the Kolan River flowing through the area, it’s a relaxing spot to spend the day. Known for fishing, canoeing and kayaking, you’ll have plenty to do!

Wake up early, pack the fishing rods and spend the morning seeing what you can catch! After a relaxing day out, drop into the Bucca Hotel for a mouthwatering meal with the friendly locals. Don’t forget to bring your dog along too.
