Bundaberg North Burnett is one of the largest fresh produce rich regions in Queensland. It's for that reason that the area is sometimes referred to as Australia's tastiest food bowl - or as us locals call it the 'Bundaberg Bowl', growing and producing fresh food that is served on tables right across the county and internationally.

You will travel in air-conditioned comfort through the stunning patchwork of farms to the blue coastal waters of the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Visit the farms that surround the Hummock growing a range of vegetables, fruit, nuts and sugar cane. This behind the scenes tour is extremely informative with visits to several different farms and a picnic along the way prepared by Water St Kitchen, who pride themselves in using produce direct from the farmers. Sample fresh produce, collect culinary tips from your host Suzie Clarke, and find out about the local food hotspots. Suzie has 30 years' experience in food, both cooking and teaching cookery.
