Walking Tracks
From Three Moon Creek picnic area:
1. Picnic Area circuit (grade 2)
Distance: 300m return (allow 20 minutes)
Take this short walk along Three Moon Creek for views of the famous sandstone cliffs.
2. Dripping Rock and The Overhang (grade 3)
Distance: 3.2km return (allow 2.5 hours)
Cross Three Moon Creek through woodlands to the impressive Dripping Rock and onto The Overhang, where centuries has eroded the base of the cliff.
3. Big Foot walk (grade 3)
Distance: 1km return (allow 45 minutes
Wander this short walk and keep an eye out for an image of a foot on the base of the cliff.
4. Fern Tree Pool and Giants Chair circuit (grade 3)
Distance: 5.6km return (allow 3 hours)
Pass the spectacular fern tree gully and make your way to the Gaints Chair Lookout for views like you’ve never seen before.
5. Dragon and Bloodwood caves (grade 3)
Distance: 2.6km return (allow 1 hour)
Make your way along this track to see a mural of a ‘dragon’ on the sandstone wall, then continue to the Bloodwood cave.
6. Two Storey Cave circuit (grade 3)
Distance: 1.3km (allow 45 minutes)
Hike this beautiful track up to a breathtaking cave, which is also a haven for bats.
7. Castle Mountain (grade 4)
Distance: 22km (allow 7-8 hours)
Only for experienced bushwalkers, this track provides hikers with two spectacular lookouts - the Gorge lookout with views down the dorge and Castle Mountain lookout with views over Lake Cania.

8. Shamrock mine site (grade 3)
Distance: 1.4km return (allow 45 minutes)
