Taste your way through the North Burnett at this year's Heartland Festival, Friday 20 – Sunday 22 September. Here's how you can tickle your tastebuds:
1. Welcome, Wine & Cheese
Kick-off Heartland Festival in style with a classy wine and cheese night featuring, local wines, soft tunes and a scrumptious grazing table that will leave your tastebuds tingling.
When: Friday 20th September, 7pm – late

2. Heartland Festival Market Day @ Gayndah State School Oval
Tickle your taste buds and clean out your wallet at the Heartland Festival Market Day @ Gayndah State School Oval. Come fill up your bags with locally made, produced and grown produce and sample the sweets and savouries over a hot coffee or sneaky wine tasting. Soak in our warm Winter sun as you peruse the stalls, enjoy the live entertainment and let your eyes be bigger than your belly for the day.
When: Saturday 21st September, 9am – 3pm
Where: Gayndah State School Oval, Queen Street Entrance
Cost: Gold coin on entry
3. Brushes, Blooms & Bubbly: Flower Farm Experience
With a glass of bubbly in hand embark on an evening stroll whilst enjoying the peaceful views of the Burnett River and floral farm surroundings. Taste the delicious assortment of local produce and be amazed by the local floral arrangement talent.
When: Saturday 21st September, 1:20pm – 6pm
Where: Bus pick-up and drop off at Gayndah Bowls Club, 13 Meson Street, Gayndah

4. Heartland Festival Food Bowl
Put on some flats or prepare to go barefoot with Heartland's featured come-and-try lawn bowls evening. Feast on some scrumptious local eats, have a bowl and chill out by the bar. This family friendly event will see many laughs whilst keeping your belly's full.
*Meals are not included in Food Bowl entry as all meals will be available for purchase

5. Heartland Festival Family Picnic
Enjoy a fun-filled day of activities for the little kids and big kids at heart. With tug-o-war, sack races and more fun to be had the kids will run ragged and you'll get the chance to sit-back and relax over a delicious picnic and local entertainment.

6. Happy Valley Dairy Tour
Calling all dairy lovers! Spend your afternoon getting up close and personal with the adorable cows and calves that produce the freshest milk in the North Burnett. Learn the dedicated process of how Happy Valley Dairy Stud produce their milk and taste their abundant range of products on offer.
