Be Surprised by a Girl's Weekend in the Bundaberg North Burnett Region

Whether you're looking for a beautiful space to lounge around and catch up on life, a foodie haven, or an action-packed getaway, you'll be surprised by what Bundaberg can offer for your next girl's weekend.

Check-In

Every queen needs a palace so grab your crown and check into your accommodation! We have an endless supply of beach-front oasis's, stunning bed and breakfasts, self-contained apartments, and CBD motels.

Try: For an escape under the stars and away from the hustle and bustle book a powered or unpowered camp site or luxury glamping tent at Splitters Farm for a unique farm stay. Or, get your daily dose of vitamin sea with the beach just a stone throw away at C Bargara Resort.

Sunday Session

Now that you are all settled in, grab the girls and watch the sun set over the Burnett River at 'Riverfeast'. Enjoy locally brewed beverages accompanied by sensational regional food from local food stalls, listen to live music and laugh away the stresses of daily life under the stars with your closest friends.

Try: Forget the diet and try ice-cream in a donut cone from 'Lick Dessert Bar', or grab a plate of bite-sized pancakes of happiness from 'Delightful Dutch Pancakes'.

The Spoils of Saturday

Sleep in and grab a lazy (or boozy) brunch at one of our many delectable cafes. Be waited on hand-and-foot as you sip on your caramel macchiato, ask a local their favourite item on the menu or get the wait staff to surprise you.

Try: 'Alowishus's' espresso and pancakes, or 'Water Street Kitchen' pana cotta and cappuccino.

No girls weekend is complete without shopping, regardless of whether or not it is necessary. If you are looking for unique pieces, ones you won't find at your local Westfield, hide your credit card statements from your partners and work out your card-tapping arm because we have what you want.

Try: 'Saskia's' for unique homewares and beautiful jewellery, and tour the CBD for your perfect outfit.

Is it 5pm yet? Rum-o'clock comes early at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery with tours running on the hour and free samples a much-welcomed add-on. Experience the world-famous educational distillery tour with Bundaberg Rum and become at master blender with the 'Blend Your Own' experience, taking home two unique blends, made by you. After your tour grab your free samples and enjoy them in the outdoor alfresco dining area as you debate whose blend is best.

Sunday like a Local

Try the local's take on a Sunday fruit and vege market and spend the morning touring farm gates, picking up local produce to take home, or stop into our regions cellar doors on your way home!

Try: If visiting in winter visit 'Tinaberries' and 'Bargara Berries' and 'pick your own'
